Description
"Rosie Remembered" is the result of a small black & white image of an unknown woman from an unknown tribe. In the photo she looked beaten & discarded. I was haunted by the image & the idea that a life could be so without value, so I painted her & gave her clothing in "Royal" colours in contrast to her patches & care worn skin. I gave her dignity & most importantly, a name - Rosie Remembered.
NEW CHAPTER FOR ROSIE!!!
A Healer recently saw Rosie and felt compelled to own a print of her, because she recognized her as the Spirit Elder who has been assisting her in her healings for the past 30 years(& no, she has never asked her her name!) I am excited to hear that Rosie's Spirit is still alive and feel so blessed that her story continues.(SO EXCITING!) Original is still available. :0)
